Flight Mechanics fix helicopters and, underway, operate the hoists that deploy and recover Rescue Swimmers .
This patch was introduced in 2009.
It is a new, large size 4″ wide and 4.7″ tall color patch (this is the Cape Cod patch with the top arc removed).
It is computer sewn, 40% embroidered on white cloth, with a laser cut edge and a plastic (sew-on only) sealed back.
