Description –
Offering an antique brass & steel Civil War era medical bleeder or fleam. This one is unusually large at 8 1/4″ opened up. Most of these that we find are much smaller. Blade measures approx., 4″ & the brass sleeve is 4 1/4″. The blade is stamped Luron A Marans and the brass is marked Qualite, B (bow tie) G, Superieure. Pictures can be enlarged and will show the condition well.
